Painter/Sculptor, Born in Montreal, François became interested in drawing at a very young age. In 1976, he began studying graphic art the Vieux-Montreal College. Students in this program were thought both graphic and plastic arts.
This diversity allowed him to fully develop his pictoral and spacial talents. The following years were a period of personal artistic development, during which he patiently cultivated his artistic skills, while also pursuing other interests.
His other accomplishments (including training as a horticulturist) allowed him to explore new themes and to reflect on his work. François resides in the Richelieu Valley, with the open fields and the hills of the Montérégie as a background.
