In 1993: Student's Exhibition of the Book Illustration Workshop (Krakow, Poland); was awarded distinctive citation for his work about Don Quixote de la Mancha & Alice in Wonderland. While observing Jan Delikat's sublime paintings, we travel through time & space. His gentle strokes bring to life the era of "la belle époque".

We suddenly find ourselves sitting at a café, entering a theater or even more, dancing at the grand ballroom. The rich display of lines and architectural elements bring forth the infinite shades of his monochromic paintings. Jan Delikat's imagination and style are an ouverture to his undeniable talent.
