Andras Csaszar was born in Hungary in 1978. His interest in art was evident at an early age. After studying illlustration in Canada for three years he obtained a degree and went on to work in that field for years to follow. He has spent time travelling, visiting art museums worldwide. While in Florence, he studied classical art at Angel Academy, learning the drawing techniques of the master artists.

With these experiences he has gained a fondness and appreciation for more traditiional subjects and styles of paintings. His interest in art shifted towards landscapes and figure studies. Working mainly in oils, he inspires to represent the simple experience in life. He focuses on portraying moments of quiet reflection with sunlit landscapes and scenes with figures lost in the serenity of the scenery.
