Born in 1955 in St-Hubert, Pierre Brault, while pursuing his studies in Fine Arts, History
of Art and Hispanic Studies at the University of Montreal, steadfastly participated in
numerous exhibitions.

For over 20 years, Pierre Brault's art could easily be admired in various galleries. His art work is now on display permanently at the Gallery Art & Culture in the Old Montreal. As he journeyed through the history of literature and art, Pierre soon discovered his "Muses".

They became a tremendous source of inspiration. His ultimate goal was to unite his "Muses" on canvas, thus rendering a poetic aura to his paintings. Through the fluidity of his shapes, the constant play of shadow and light and the predo-minant red, his dramatic personae and horses come to life to relay to us poetic messages from the past.
